Nexiin Taggart

A petty smuggler, Nexiin Taggart was known for his bad luck. Whether it was his freighter, the Dalandae Dandy, breaking down or his smuggling contacts getting picked up by authorities, Taggert earned the reputation as a bad luck magnet. In 0 BBY, he managed to pick up a job from Zambarti crime boss Big Bunji hauling a shipment of spice from Arkanis to Hutt Space. Everything was going smoothly until his hyperspace conked out over Tatooine. Getting in touch with a former compatriot Han Solo, Solo agreed (begrudgingly) to finish his run for half of the payout. After landing, using only his maneuvering and dumb luck, he hurried to the meeting spot. Entering the Cantina, he found that his friend Solo had left with a young farmboy and a hermit. Once again, Nexiin was up poodoo creek without a paddle.

Damono Deomaley

A Bimm and accomplished pilot, he served aboard the Tower, a smuggling ship captained by fellow Bimm Rycar Ryjerd. Known in smuggling circles for his patience, as he often has to deal with Ryjerd's awful sense of humor on long trips up and down the Sisar Run.

Gyndinan (And the start of Sanbra Week)

Starting today I'll write up a short entry on races that received very little (if any) screen time. This will count races seen in games, cartoons, and comics. Hope you enjoy and feel free to recommend any race!

Gyndinans hail from the Expansion Region planet of Gyndine. Virtually identical to baseline humans, they are easily recognizable by their stocky builds and eyes, which have pink pupils with grey irises. Early in the Galactic Civil War, Gyndine was conquered by the Empire, making it a fortress world. While some affluent Gyndinans became staunch supporters of the Empire (despite the anti-alien sentiments of the Empire), many fled Gyndine and even joined the Rebel Alliance.

Notable Gyndinans:
- Bin Essada, Imperial Governor of Circarpous V

The Gavor

The gavor are non-sentient animals hailing from the Anoat Sector planet of Bavva. Standing 2 meters tall, the bipedal  reptilians where tamed by the Nothoiin colonists. They are often used as mounts and draft beasts although their cranky disposition makes them difficult to train. While gavor meat is edible, it is a acquired taste. It is best described as sour, due to their diet of various moss and lichens that cover Bavva's surface.

Dratun

Dratun (Gotal male from Antar 4) - A former bounty hunter, his career was cut short after a speeder crash on Nar Kanji. The crash damaged his head cones, which left him unable to sense the electromagnetic fields that gave him the edge as a bounty hunter. Realizing his life as a hunter was over, he became a bounty expediter in the Arkanis sector. Traveling in his battered freighter, High Tundra, he offers his services to the numerous bounty hunters operating in the sector.

Born into slavery on Nar Kreeta, Somon Fellos and Giran grew up together in the employ of Parella the Hutt, a reknown big-game hunter. Somon and Giran acted as guides on Parella's various hunts and soon became expert trackers and beast handlers. After a incident with a veermok on a hunting trip on Naboo, Somon gained the nickname "Weeba Weeba", a huttese phrase loosely translated as "one who escapes death." Sold to Jabba the Hutt as payment for a slight against the Desiljic clan, the two entered the employ of the crime lord and joined the Corellian Malakili and the Kubaz Lorindan as handlers to Jabba's new prize pet, the rancor.

Krelman

Krelman (Koozebanian male from Koozebane) - Krelman, a lonely Koozebanian was stuck on the desert world of Tatooine after his freighter was caught in a meteor shower and crash landed in the Dune Sea. Making his way to Mos Eisley, he found he lacked the funds to repair his craft. Becoming destitute he squandered whatever money he had on liqour. Krelman visited Chalmun's Cantina and became infatuated with Ackmena, a bartender who worked the nighttime hourse. After much consideration, Krelman (and after a bit of drinking) returned to the cantina days later and confronted the woman, professing his love for her and giving her flowers. She initially refused, but after all of the customers had left the cantina that night due to an imposed Imperial curfew, Krelman remained behind with Ackmena, who didn't mind his company anymore.

Still alive.

Work has unfortunately taken over my life as of late, but the ideas have kept coming. I have some characters in the pipeline and will post them when I have the time.
