Various bios

Here are some short bios, either because I ran out of ideas or had a mental block while writing them.

Meryn Rekab (Enso male from Ensolica) - A freighter captain, Meryn took over his mother, Teyora's hydroponics selling business, often selling to the moisture farmers operating in the Dune Sea.

Della Semora (Suidae female from Sus Scrofa) - A porcine Near-Human, Della Semora was a former financial minister on her homeplanet of Sus Scrofa. After a scandal involving another ministers mate and a money laundering scheme for the local Hutt clan, she fled to Tatooine to find work with the Desilijic clan.

Addressing some concerns.

Just giving a update, I haven't abandoned the foolish quest of writing backstories, I recently was bumped up to full time at my current job. So my free time is pretty limited. I've got plenty of ideas for some characters, I just need to hunker down one day and write them up. I've been focusing on Jabba's Palace recently. So there's that.

Another concern is my writing style. I'm not the world greatest writer, I know that. While I am no Timothy Zahn, I try to express the basic story i'm trying to get across.

Dara Schmee

Dara Schmee (Human male from Kesmere) - A bursa of a man, Dara was a former Sector Ranger. During his time as a Ranger he met Orma Hundeen, a fellow Ranger and the two fell in love and married. Months after their marriage, Orma was killed during a prison break by notorious smuggler, Stavros Jann. Distraught, Dara left the Sector Rangers and became a smuggler, hoping living on the fringe would lead him to his wife's killer. Tracking Jann to the Arkanis sector, he followed a tip that Jann was seen in Mos Eisley. Upon arriving at the spaceport he contacted Boelo, a infochant and hechman for Jabba the Hutt. Boelo knew the whereabouts of Jann, but for a price. Schmee would have to act as muscle for Jabba in return for the information. Following Boelo to Chalmun's Cantina, he met up with fellow smuggler Gela Yeens and the Rodian killers known as the Narvik Triplets. Going to Docking Bay 94, he encountered Han Solo, a Corellian smuggler in debt with Jabba. After the meeting, Boelo told Schmee that Jann was seen at a spice den at the edge of the spaceport. When Schmee entered the den, he found Jann dead of a spice overdose. Feeling some sense of closure, he left Tatooine to start his life anew.

Geezum

I was watching Jedi recently for any characters I could use for backstories and during the Sail Barge scene, when Leia hops from Jabba's platform I saw a white blur fleeing the scene. After pausing the movie, I found Geezum was the white blur. Seeing I have a soft spot for Snivvians, I couldn't have him die on the barge.

Geezum (Snivvian male from Cadomai Prime) - The Snivvian Geezum graduated from Galactic Outdoor Survival School. Using the talents he learned, he became a accomplished scout, traveling unknown planets in his Pathfinder, the Winter Tale. Hired by Jabba the Hutt for scouting asteroid belts Jabba won from the Mugaari crimelord Thenn the Elder in a sabacc tournament. He was well paid by Jabba, but never found out why, seeing the asteroid belt had no mineral deposits of any kind. He joined Jabba on his fateful trip the the Pit of Carkoon, and witnessed first hand Leia Organa strangle the Hutt with a length of chain. Fleeing, he was one of the few who escaped the barge explosion, and using his talents he traveled by foot across the Dune Sea to the town of Anchorhead. [ROTJ]

Update

I've hit a block while writing the Jolly Jerba, so I'm putting it on the back burner. Instead, I'm going to focus on my favorite background character, Geezum!

I've always had a soft spot for snivvians and I've got some good ideas for this character.

Brock Starsher

Brock Starsher (Human male from Mataou) - A bounty hunter known as "The Collector", Brock was known to collect trophies from the various hunts he participated in with the Mantis Syndicate. Some of the trophies he had collected on hunts were a Imzig laser musket from a rogue State Military Colonel, a Sevari Flashpistol from a spice runner from Sevarcos, but his most prized trophy was a Geran offworld-survival helmet which he took from the infamous Geran assassin, Verros. He often wore the helmet, often causing confusion with many thinking he was a Geran himself. Starsher left the Mantis Syndicate and found work with the Desilijic kajidic, becoming a guard and combat trainer for Jabba the Hutt. Present at the Battle of the Great Battle of Carkoon, he attacked Luke Skywalker, believing his lightsaber would make a excellent addition to his collection. He overestimated Skywalker's prowess and fell into the sarlacc's open maw. Ironically it was Starsher who became part of a collection, of victims being slowly digisted by the sarlacc. [ROTJ]

Lieutenant Piskgetti

Lieutenant Piskgetti (Dressellian male from Dressel) - A shorter than average Dressellian (standing 1.65 meters tall), Piskgetti joined the resistance on Dressel shortly after the Imperial occupation of his forested homeworld. A accomplished scout and pathfinder, he was placed in the squad known as Safari One. He proved himself as a brave and tenacious fighter, proving himself on various missions such as retrieving a 12-CG droid on Goratak III and defending the village and Rebel outpost of Bemten on the planet Lankashiir. The only non-human in the squad, he eventually became less xenophobic than most Dressellians. Before the Battle of Endor, he was chosen by Major Panno to join the Dressellian regiment led by General Orrimaarko. Hours before departing the flagship Home One to Endor's surface, he was involved in a altercation with scout Cobb Salfur and spent the battle in the brig of Home One, after Salfur called the regiment "Prune Face Platoon". Vishki

Vishki (H'nemthe male from H'nemthe) - A H'nemthe skip tracer and music aficionado, newly contracted by Lucross Collections. He was looking for the Trusty Rusty, a light freighter owned by Baryn Jennos, a smuggler who was often behind on his starship payments He tracked Jennos from Irith to the desert planet Tatooine and landed in Mos Eisley as Jennos lifted off. Frustrated at missing his payday, he went to Jabba's Palace after he overheard that his favorite jizz band, The Max Rebo Band, was the current house band for Jabba. Overjoyed, he decided that his trip to Tatooine wasn't a waste after all. [ROTJ]
